Savory Popovers with Lemon & Thyme

Ingredients

Flour Butter Salt and pepper Milk Thyme Eggs Lemon

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and milk for about 1 minute.

Add sifted flour, salt and whisk until the flour is incorporated.

Add the pepper, thyme, and lemon, and mix again.

Step 4

Fill the preheated wells with 1/2 teaspoon of melted butter in each. Divide the batter among the wells.

Step 5

Cook at 450F for 15 minutes. Lower the heat to 350F and cook for another 10-20 minutes until puffed and golden. Serve immediately.
